Meet Sari & Becka ✦

Guiding parents, educators, and organizations to move beyond control and live trust, autonomy, and connection in real life.

A note from us

We didn’t start Radical Learning because we had answers.

We started because something didn’t sit right.

Not in school.
Not in how adults relate to kids.
Not in how we were taught to lead, teach, or parent.

And once you see that… you can’t unsee it.

So we began unlearning.

In our own lives.
With our own kids.
In the spaces we were part of.

We started to see just how deeply we had been shaped — by school, by society, by everything we were taught about learning, behavior, and authority.

That process of unlearning… of loosening those patterns… is what’s often called deschooling.

And it sits at the heart of everything we do.

Radical Learning grew out of that.

Not as a method — but as a way of working with what’s actually happening in real moments.

We’re really glad that you’re here.

Sari & Becka

Sari González and Becka Koritz
Co-founders of Radical Learning

Together, they bring over three decades of experience working with children, families, educators, and communities across the U.S., Mexico, and internationally.

They train facilitators and educators, support parents, and work with organizations — all with a shared focus: shifting how people relate in real moments, and how power, learning, and authority are held within those relationships.

Their work focuses on helping adults unlearn and heal patterns shaped by control, fear, and conditioning — and learn to relate in ways rooted in trust, autonomy, and connection.

Sari González

Sari is a co-founder of Radical Learning and a facilitator, mentor, and leader in self-directed education.

Her work began as a parent questioning conventional systems — and evolved into leadership within Agile Learning Communities, where she has supported families, trained facilitators, and co-directed learning spaces rooted in trust, autonomy, and youth voice.

Now based in Mexico and mama to a neurodivergent 12-year-old, Sari brings both lived experience and deep relational practice into her work. Drawing from Family Constellations, SenseThinking, and Resonance Practice, she supports adults in shifting how they relate to young people — in ways that are grounded, responsive, and real.

Becka Koritz

Becka Koritz is a co-founder of Radical Learning, an educator, author, and long-time advocate for educational freedom.

With a background in teaching across Sweden and Mexico, she has founded multiple learning initiatives — including Mexico’s first Agile Learning Center — and spent years working closely with children and families navigating the impact of conventional schooling.

As an unschooling mama to a neurodivergent young adult, Becka brings lived experience into everything she does. Her work integrates Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and tarot as reflective tool — supporting adults to move beyond fear, reconnect with themselves, and respond with more awareness and trust in real moments.

Our Philosophy

We believe that how we relate shapes everything.

Learning. Behavior. Connection. Power.

Most of us were shaped by systems built on control, pressure, and performance.

Even when we no longer agree with them,
those patterns still show up — in how we react, communicate, and make decisions.

That’s why this work isn’t about better strategies.

It’s about learning to see what’s underneath,
and responding differently in real moments.

We believe that children don’t need to be fixed, managed, or made to fit.

They need environments where they can be seen, trusted, and met as they are.

And we believe that real change doesn’t come from theory.

It comes from how we show up — in the small, everyday moments where relationship is either built or broken.

From those we’ve worked with

“At this point, I just want to be in anything you create. There’s something about this work — the way it shifts how I think, how I respond, and how I relate — that keeps unfolding over time. Everything you offer — the courses, the calls, the conversations — it all connects.

It helps me slow down, see what’s actually happening, and respond differently with my kids. It’s not about doing more. It’s about relating differently — and that changes everything.”

“Working with Radical Learning has given me more confidence in this kind of education — and a completely different way of holding it.

I feel more relaxed, more grounded, and more able to move with what’s happening as a facilitator and parent liaison.

Beyond the content, what stood out was the depth of the experience — the sense of community, support, and care that held everything together. It shifted not just what I do, but how I show up.”

the shift

“It’s hard to put The Shift into words… but if I had to choose one, it would be evolutionary. This wasn’t another training or conference. It was something we actually lived. A space where I could show up fully — without judgment — and explore parts of myself that never had space in more conventional settings. No lectures. No performance. Just real practice, real connection, and real growth.

This is the kind of experience we want young people to have — and here, we got to feel it ourselves. I’ve never experienced anything like it.”
